Willy's Family Surf Club: Our Story
Founded in 2020, Willy’s Surf Club was born after a few winter seasons spent surfing in Florida. I was deeply inspired by the vibrant surf culture and the community that welcomed me with open arms. My goal from the start was simple: to create a club for absolutely everyone.
Whether you're young or old, a seasoned charger or a total kook, a longboard style-seeker or a shortboard ripper, you have a place here.
What started with my family and a core group of friends between the Outer Banks and Florida has grown into a massive coastal community. Today, it brings together OBX newcomers and the natives I grew up with, stretches up the East Coast to New York and Rhode Island, and has been thriving over the past few winters on the west coast of Puerto Rico. The surf world is surprisingly small, and connecting these dots has been incredibly rewarding. For me, it’s all about making people feel like family—welcoming them in and out of the water, greeting every surfer with a smile, and keeping the pure stoke alive.
